We are getting customers ordering with us that are not reading this document
It is ESSENTIAL you read AND agree to how we conduct our business
We strictly do not offer Refunds, Cancellations, or Returns on our products or any services offered including installs.
Our products are handcrafted to order and made specifically for each customer.
This is also applies to any deadlines, issues with construction times, or Buyer's Remorse.
Although it seems harsh to bring up , due to customers attempting to circumvent our policies and open a PayPal case we have to mention at this point that PayPal only covers the buyer for non delivery of a Custom Made Item item which as these are handmade to order includes our work, any fraudulent PayPal claims will be fiercely contested, all of our sabers are thoroughly photographically documented for condition and function before it leaves our workshop, we do this solely to protect ourselves.
In the event of any Customer service based discretionary refunds being offered these are actioned within 30 - 60 days of the agreement, the reason for this is that we have to re-coop the cost of the build up to that point, we are a small business and every saber counts towards to the full up keep of our business and livelihood.
Domestic Shipping via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day
We ship all international orders via UPS or USPS we will not use any other courier or shipping company, our sabers are shipped fully tracked and insured and must be signed for by an adult, when your saber ships you will be updated through Etsy with your tracking details.
DCSabers is NOT responsible for any damage caused by international inspection agencies/customs agencies.
All of our sabers are packed and fully protected for transit.
International buyers may be charged a handling fee and or customs tax chargers when importing our work, we have nothing to do with this process and it is completely out of our hands.
Should there be an issue with the products function and it is covered under our warranty we will be happy to service or replace the product at our discretion.

Customers outside of the warranty period are still encouraged to get in touch as we still may be able to help.
Q How long will it take to get my HILT ONLY Saber?
A. We ESTIMATE that your saber will ship within 20 - 25 WORKING DAYS (Discounting Weekends)
It is essential we set expectations on what we aim for, unless otherwise stated on the individual listing, although this time frame sometimes changes with how busy we are, we try our hardest to meet this deadline but our sabers are in no way quick to make, please be patient with us!
We are certain you will love your hilt when it arrives.
Q. How long will it take to make my INSTALLED saber?
A. This is probably the most open ended question we have to regularly answer, as soon as you order with us work starts immediately to prepare the raw materials, acquire required internal parts and get the ball rolling on the job.
These sabers are HAND CRAFTED by only one person on manual machines and I do not work well under pressure either from customers or from time constraints, because of this we are not responsible for events such as birthdays, conventions, or their time frames though we do try our best to accommodate customers but due to demand and the time it takes to create these pieces we can unfortunately cannot guarantee this due to the nature of how these are made.
We ESTIMATE lead times on installed sabers from our ETSY shop will take around 10 - 12 Weeks +/- but we’ve had situations in the past such as component shortages and work loads through busy periods such as Christmas that have escalated lead times greatly if such outcomes present themselves we ask our customers to be patient with us, we want to send your work out to you as much as you want to receive it, before you order its really essential you understand that our lead times are not fixed.
Q. Can i ask for an update on my order
Of Course :) but you must understand that although work starts immediately your saber will most likely not be ready before the estimated stated time, it can take 7 working days to reply to you due to how busy I am, and unfortunately because I am family man as a rule I rarely answer after hours or at the weekend and within UK holidays.
However, to keep clients in the loop we've now created a simple update service which can be found HERE
Our Custom Lightsabers are totally hand made and because of this are complicated and extremely time consuming to make, where the customers sees the finished product behind the scenes many many hours have tirelessly gone into its production.
We totally understand customers are excited to receive their sabers but with any reputable handcrafted saber manufacturers their work is like art to them and art takes time, we are no exception.
Q. How long will my DCSabers One Off Commission / Master Build take.
A. These sabers and installs are our FINEST work and have no set time frame, and can sometimes take 6 MONTHS TO A YEAR or more, we do and will not rush these jobs in any way and honestly, to produce our best work we cannot be pressured into doing so, again, you MUST agree to this before ordering.
Q. What Happens if my order is delayed?
A. We have now created an update service that will keep all customers in the loop as best as we possibly can, the most likely reason for delays is component shortages which can happen especially surrounding the current global shortages of Aluminium and also Semiconductors used in the FX Cards.
Obviously this is totally out of our hands, we go to extreme lengths to keep stock of the components we use but unfortunately on occasion shortage is unavoidable.
We will provide information on the update service as to the exact nature of the delay and the expected date we expect the build to resume.
Q. Can I have a removable 18650 li-ion Battery in my saber?
A. Unfortunately not at the moment, we are developing a new chassis to accommodate but currently due to warranty restrictions we only offer the highest quality wired in batteries.
Q. The shipping costs seems expensive, why is that?
A. Anything sent in the UK is always sent via Royal Mail we do this because our sabers are best left out of the mailing system as much as possible.
We ship internationally via UPS because they give us the best security options against fraudulent claims of non delivery, they also have a full tracking system which benefits our customers.
Q. It says that some of your sabers are rated for full contact controlled combat what does that mean?
A. Certain models we offer are constructed in such a way that they are capable of withstanding the force of two sabers being fought with such as in Ludo Sport, this does not make them indestructible, sabers do not like to be dropped, thrown, or otherwise mistreated in any way and doing so will affect your warranty.
