Crucible was built to be tested.
 
It has existed across conflicts that outlived the orders that named them. Its form changed as parts wore out and were replaced, but the core remained, enduring long after its original maker was gone. Repairs were made in the field, not to restore it, but to keep it working.
 
Those who carried Crucible learned that time was its true trial. Battles came and went. Ideologies rose and collapsed. The saber remained, marked by use rather than ceremony.
 
Crucible is not remembered for who first wielded it, only for the fact that it is still here.

This Saber kit comes professionally crafted weathered and ready to install with a dedicated hand painted chassis to install into. The kit includes a pre-assembled brass and marble crystal reveal with fixing points pre drilled and tapped to fix in place!
 
The chassis is sized for a Proffie V3.9, the chassis comes with compatible battery tabs.
 
The chassis has space for you to add a 28mm Bass Speaker, Kill Switch and has been sized to take the KeepPower 18650 Lithium Ion Battery.
 
This saber aesthetically is designed to take an 8mm single momentary switch (not supplied), however there is enough space for a competent installer to modify the hilt to use which ever switch set up you prefer.
 
For those that like to create their own chassis the installable space inside this hilt is 2.7cm W x 11cm L. before taking into account the speaker bezel. Uninstalled this saber weighs an impressive 505g est (1lb.2oz).
 
This kit is designed to be installed by a competent saber installer, and is not marketed as a novice kit, however the DIY with DCSabers project will soon be offering Build Along and a How To video series that will show anyone interested in getting started in the hobby exactly how its done!
