PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT BEFORE DECIDING TO PURCHASE WITH US!

DCSabers will not deviate from the policies outlined below, this is how we operate

If you do not agree completely with them please do not order from us.

LEAD TIMES

 

As of the 1st of December 2021 all sabers available on our website or ETSY are now strictly READY TO SHIP and will aim to ship in 5-7 business days of the order being placed.

Unfortunately WE ARE NOT responsible for time frames or missed events such as birthdays, conventions, or their time frames though we really do try our best to accommodate customers but due to demand and the time it takes to create these pieces unfortunately this is in no way guaranteed due to the nature of how these are made and the couriers used.

 

Refunds 

 

We strictly do not offer Refunds, Cancellations, or Returns on our products or any services offered including installs. 

 

Our products are handcrafted to order and made specifically for each customer. 

 

This is also applies to any deadlines, issues with construction times, or Buyer's Remorse. 

We DO NOT refund for damaged sabers, but will work with the customer if the saber has an active warranty, and the defect is covered, our warranty can be found here

 

Due to customers attempting to circumvent our policies and open a PayPal / Etsy case we have to mention at this point that PayPal only covers the buyer for non delivery of a Custom Made Item item which as these are handmade to order includes our work, any fraudulent PayPal claims will be fiercely contested, all of our sabers are thoroughly photographically documented for condition and function before it leaves our workshop, we do this solely to protect ourselves.

In the event of any Customer service based discretionary refunds being offered these are actioned within 30 - 60 days or less of the agreement, the reason for this is that we have to re-coop the cost of the build up to that point, we have invested money which we aim to retrieve and more importantly time which we cannot get back, we are a small business and every saber counts towards to the full up keep of our business and livelihood, This is non negotiable.

Master Builds

Master Builds represent our best custom work, a master Build constitutes to any saber that is not from our original line and made from scratch, or a saber that is edited or customised from the original line or sabers we produce.
 

Anyone that has received Master Builds from me in the past can vouch that left to really develop these builds they always get far more than they ever paid for.

Master builds will now no longer be paid in full, we have decided to reduce to a 50% non refundable deposit before work starts.

 

Acceptance of a Master Build project from DCSabers will require the customer to digitally agree to and sign a contract which will outline exactly what is planned, the terms and conditions involved and payment for Master Build items will now be by direct bank transfer only.

These sabers will no longer have lead time frames, I am currently being rushed to complete this type of work and the work is suffering and I’m not happy or in the best head space to put my all into the project, which is nothing but counter productive.

For Master builds from now on I only want to work with people that are serious about these projects.

Shipping

Domestic Shipping via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day

 

We ship all international orders via UPS or USPS we will not use any other courier or shipping company, our sabers are shipped fully tracked and insured and must be signed for by an adult, when your saber ships you will be updated through Etsy with your tracking details.

DCSabers is NOT responsible for any delays or damage caused by international inspection agencies/customs agencies. 

 

All of our sabers are packed and fully protected for transit. 

 

International buyers may be charged a handling fee and or customs tax chargers when importing our work, we have nothing to do with this process and it is completely out of our hands. 

 

Warranty 

 

Should there be an issue with the products function and it is covered under our warranty we will be happy to service or replace the product at our discretion.

Customers outside of the warranty period are still encouraged to get in touch as we still may be able to help. 

Harassment Policy.

DCSabers WILL NOT accept any type of threats, either personally or to the business especially in the form of but not exclusive to, Blackmail, Bribery, Physical Violence or anything other than common decency.

DCSabers takes a ZERO tolerance stance on this, If any customer displays this kind of behaviour we will cut communication with them immediately, if you have a saber on order with us you will still receive it but it will be the last as your name will be black listed, it pains me massively that I have to put this policy in place, but is now necessary.

We are humans, we are decent people and we treat people like we want to be treated, if a customer can't do the same then we will not communicate with you.. The bottom line is that you wouldn't take it.. And neither will we. Period.
